Lesson 2 of 7 · 3 min

Add a service

Appointments, classes and courses: what each is, and the price, length and spaces that make one bookable.

  1. Services → New service

A service is anything people book. Press New service, then pick its kind from the menu beside its name: Appointment, Class or Course. Pick it first, because the rest of the form follows from that.
  2. Service details

Under Service details, give it a name and a Duration. An appointment can also have a Breathing gap between appointments: time to reset between clients that nobody can book into.
  3. Pricing & payment

Under Pricing & payment, set the Price. For a class, Charged says whether that's per person or per booking. Paid up front says what's paid to confirm: nothing, a percentage, a fixed deposit or the full price.
  4. Spaces & schedule

Classes and courses have Spaces & schedule: how many fit on each date, and the most spaces one booking can take. Appointments get Times & booking window instead, and need someone under Staff to book. You're there already: the owner starts as staff.
  5. Press Save and it's on your booking page; Trazr then takes you to Images to add a picture. Should it stay hidden for now? Switch off Visible on your booking page, under the sections (on a phone it's Hidden, under Booking preferences).
  6. Service → Booking preferences

Done with a service? Archive this service takes it off your page and keeps every booking working. Delete sits beside it, but only for a service nobody has booked.
