Hand your business to someone else

Make someone on your team the owner: the plan, billing and closing go to them, and you stay on as an admin.

  1. Every business has one owner. The plan is theirs, Stripe's receipts go to them, and only they can close the business or hand it on. Admins can do everything else, setting up billing included, and staff work the day.
  2. Only someone already on your team, with their own Trazr login, can take over. Invite them from Settings, then Team, first. Once they've accepted, they're in the list.

  3. Settings → Team → Transfer ownership

    To hand it over, open Settings, then Team. Under Transfer ownership (only the owner sees it), choose who takes over and press Transfer.
  4. Type the business's name to confirm. Ellie owns it straight away, and you both get an email. If Stripe's receipts were coming to you, they go to her now.
  5. You can't undo it yourself: only the new owner can hand it back. Leaving Trazr altogether? Hand the business over first, and then you can delete your account from Your profile.
