Invoices

Every paid-for booking gets one by itself. Make your own for anything else, and keep track of what's paid and what's late.

  1. Invoices

Every booking with something to pay gets an invoice the moment it's made, and it marks itself paid when the money comes in. Free bookings get none. You'll find them all under Invoices.
  2. An invoice is Pending until it's paid, Overdue once it's past its due date, then Paid. A custom one you no longer need can be voided; a booking's invoice follows the booking.
  3. Invoices → New invoice

For anything that isn't a booking, like a commissioned dinner set or a private hire of the studio, press New invoice. Add the customer, the lines and when it's due.
  4. Settings, on the Invoices page, has the switch An invoice for every booking (on unless you turn it off), the template they're Built on, what Numbers start with and when they're Due. The templates live in Automation, then Documents.
  5. Paid in cash for a custom invoice? Mark paid, then pick Cash, Card, Bank transfer or Payment link. A booking's invoice follows its booking, so record the money there. Each invoice is also a PDF to download, or to email from the menu.
