Lesson 5 of 8 · 3 min

Connect your calendar

Busy in Google, Outlook or iCloud? Customers can't book you then, and your bookings show up in your own calendar.

  1. Your profile → My calendar

Your diary probably lives somewhere already. Connect it and Trazr reads only when you're busy, never what your events are called, so customers can't book you then. Open Your profile, then My calendar. Owners and admins can do it for anyone from Staff, then the person, then Calendar.
  2. It works both ways. A dentist at 11 in your Google Calendar greys out 11:00 on your booking page. A booking for a private lesson goes into your calendar as Private lesson, then the customer's first name and initial, and it moves or disappears when the booking does.
  3. Add a calendar link

iCloud, Zoho, Yahoo, Fastmail or a work calendar? Choose Add a calendar link and paste its subscription link, the one ending in .ics. That one is read-only: busy times come in, nothing is written back. Ellie at The Clay Room uses her iCloud link.
  4. The card says when it last synced (about every 10 minutes, or press Sync now) and how many busy times it found. A class you teach while you're busy gets a warning on the Schedule, never a cancellation. If a sign-in stops working the card says Needs reconnecting and the owner gets an email.
  5. Disconnect whenever you like. Trazr forgets the sign-in and every busy time it read, and you choose whether the bookings it added stay in your calendar or come out.
